bfast.ai - Link Builder

Overview

The Link Builder feature in BooleanMaths allows users to create short URLs for their source URLs. It provides a default domain (bfast.ai) for shortening links, while also allowing users to add custom domains. Additionally, users can generate QR codes and track traffic analytics. Users can analyze website traffic, track key events such as product purchases and items added to the cart.

How to Use Link Builder

Step 1: Accessing Link Builder

1. Log in to your BooleanMaths account.

2. From the left sidebar, click on Link Builder.

Step 2: Creating a Short URL

1. Click on the Create Link button at the top right.

1. Select a domain for the short URL:

• Default option: bfast.ai.

• Custom domain: If you have already added a custom domain, you can select it from the dropdown. (Follow step 3 for creating your own domain)

1. (Optional) Choose a custom URL ending for the short URL. If left blank, BooleanMaths will auto-generate it.

2. Enter the Source URL (the original long URL you want to shorten).

3. Select a Campaign

   • If you don’t have any campaign than create it first by clicking Create Campaign button.

4. Fill out other required fields.

5. Click on Finish and Close to create the short URL.

Step 3: Using a Custom Domain

If you want to use your own domain instead of bfast.ai, follow these steps:

1. Click on Manage in the Link Builder section.

2. Click on Add Custom Domain.

3. Copy the displayed IP address: 13.234.116.239.

4. (Optional) Enter your domain in the provided field and click on Save button.

5. Go to your DNS provider

   • For Custom Domain add an A type record pointing to 13.234.116.239.

• For Sub-Domain add an A typ erecord with subdomain name pointing to 13.234.116.239.

1. Return to BooleanMaths and enter your domain in the provided field, click on your domain from the list if saved previously.

2. Click on Validate.

3. If validation fails, retry after 15 minutes.

4. Once validated, your domain will appear in the list, and you can select it when creating short URLs.

Step 4: Viewing and Using the Short URL

After click on Finish and Close your URL will create and a modal will appear containing:

• The generated Short URL.

• A QR Code for easy access. (You can download it in any format)

You can now use the short URL and QR code to drive traffic and analyze link performance.

Step 5: Managing and Tracking Links

1. After closing the modal, You will navigate to the Link Builder Table.

2. Here, you can see all the created short URLs along with analytics such as:

   • Clicks

   • Unique Visitors

   • User activity events like product purchase, add to cart

   • Others

3. On clicking Status you can see more details of that link.
